Yes it must be hard for you but I'm sure things for your child will work out ok

Nice try. We are removing her and giving her a good education somewhere that exam results are internationally recognised as legitimate.

I would not be surprised that in future mixed or foreign children will only be able to attend international schools.

Doubtful - it's probably more likely to be the opposite. Thailand as every other UN member is committed to globalisation and this means open borders, ASEAN is the first step towards this integration happening.

Thailand is becoming more diverse, even if it's a glacial pace compared to western countries. There are over 3 million low skilled workers from Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia in Thailand out of a total population of around 68-69 million. Westerners are everywhere and mixed-race Thai-western children, many of which are difficult to distinguish from Thai or Thai-Chinese children are commonplace whereas 20 years ago they were rather rare. Indian-Thais (mostly Sikhs) are common in parts of central Bangkok, Pattaya and Chiang Mai. One even sees Africans in Isarn now and lots of football teams hire Africans instead of recruiting local talent, which is kind of cheating by denying the opportunity for local Thai men to become footballers.
