Garmin GPS for auto

Featured Replies

Hi, I just purchased a Garmin with map of Thailand installed and although it has English search POI capability the results are all in Thai language which is useless for me. My old model shows search results in English but not the new one. What's up wth that? Thanks..:wai:

I use a map and the sun. :D

Switch your GPS on and look under settings, then scroll down to find language & keyboard where you should find

voice language

text language

keyboard language.

I don't know which model you have, mine is the Nuvi 2467LM model but you can go online to Garmin (I use Garmin UK) to register your device and download a manual.

I hope that this is of help to you.

Hi! Yes, I did all that and it works fine for the searches and input, however, the POI results are all in Thai! That's the issue. No trouble doing searches in English or getting directions in English, just can't read the results to find where I want to go!

Go Online, get Garmin Express, and register your GPS with Garmin

my.garmin.com

on the site, you can then for free - access and download any/ all languages desired (spoken and written)

these units need to be up to date to always operate correctly
