Is it really rainy and buggy these days? Would you recommend? I heard also Ko Samat is a good choice.

Raining most places,better than Bangkok and Pattaya, this time of year is simply like this in Asia, try Italy!

 

The bad news:  This time of the year, it's raining just about every day all over Thailand.

 

The good news:  It rains a couple of hours, then it's clear the rest of the day.  Buggier than in the dry season, but certainly not oppressive.

 

Pick your destination based on what you want to do, and just nap through the showers.  Second guessing the weather won't do you any good.
