Tak will arrange a grand ceremony to commemorate King Taksin the Great

The subcommittee for managing the Shrine of King Taksin the Great held a meeting to prepare for the King Taksin the Great Monument Ceremony and the annual Red Cross Fair. Both events will be held to commemorate King Taksin the Great who in order to recall for the divine grace of Somdej Prajao Taksin who redeemed the independence of Thailand in the past.

Mr. Surachai Puengjitton (สุรชัย พึ่งจิตตน), the chairman of this subcommittee, said after the meeting that the two events will be held between December 28th 2006 and January 2nd 2007 at the Shrine of King Taksin the Great.

He also confirmed that the events will be much more superior to the previous ones in the past years. Numerous activities and wonderful shows will be arranged, while local products will be on sale at the Red Cross Fair.

People can also play the Red Cross lotto in order to win great prizes such as pickup trucks and many more.
