Hotel near bus station for an overnighter...

As indicated in the title will visit CR to see a "friend" for a night of .... well you know and would like advice on a decent hotel not too far from the bus station not too fancy but not too funky either... recomendations please.

New or old bus station?

 

The new is a bit out of town nd would involve transport, the old bus station has many hotels withing walking distance.

A click on Chiang Rai on any hotel site will come up with a map, prices, pictures etc etc.

There is a sign at the new bus station for a hotel nearby. Forget the name but it says BT350 with AC.
