Yamaha Aerox 155 now available (NVX in Vietnam) (Nouvo successor)

Featured Replies

That will be good fun.

I'd choose that if looking for a scooter. 155cc and not big and bulky like a pcx/n-max

don't often get excited about scooters but sign me up for this asap :)...especially the chunky tires and displacement upgrade..been holding on to my beat-up 135cc nuovo just for the engine size..

Swapping out the exhaust and aslo adding an after market air filter would make this a nice little flyer.

Yamaha had an event here the other day (Vietnam) and I went to peak at this. Kind of ugly. Fit and finish seems cheaper then the nmax. It's made in Vietnam I believe so it's a lot cheaper then the nmax here. (Not imported.)

Good value at $2,300 usd. Led lights. Big storage. Fat tires. Abs brakes.

Unfortunetly my knee digs into the plastic dash area. But if you're short and you need a cup holder for your can of Leo then you might like it.

I also noticed the seam on the seat was split open. Was this bike abused or did it just rip from people sitting on it for a few days? Guess that's easy enough to fix but seems cheap.

Ill hold onto my current ride for a while.

  • 1 month later...

Nouvo series had a great run,

then got killed by PCX.

Now Yamaha fights back with two auto models,

& Exciter // somewhat.

I like the not-under-seat fueling port.
