Celebrities hand out bags to avoid a mountain of rubbish at Phu Tub Berk

PETCHABUN:-- Stars handed out black bags to tourists visiting Petchabun's Phu Tub Berk Mountain during long weekend as part of a campaign to tackle the chronic garbage problem at the scenic spot.

 

As Thailand celebrated Constitution Day, many tourists headed north for the cooler climes of the mountains. During this period, Phu Tub Berk Mountain welcomes thousands of tourists each day, which usually results in piles of rubbish being left at the site afterwards.
