I am looking at upgrading my Fino to have more stability and balance. Yamaha tricity (84,000) has two wheels on the front on separate axels so it still tilts and is same width as other Scooters. Ozimoto in Pattaya offers a totally different machine. If you buy a pcx150 (83,000) and take it them, for 45,000 they replace the back wheel with two larger wheels on a single axel so it doesn't tilt. It is a bit wider so not as easy to ride between cars but it is more stable. Any reviews or suggestions?

So the ozimoto ones have books updated to 3 wheels ?.... whats a doctors note for ?

If you don't have the strength to support a bike if it leans when stationary, as some people don't, then the converted PCX makes sense. You can sit on it at the lights with your feet up.

If you can support and balance a scooter when stationary then the Tricity makes sense if you want the confidence of extra tire grip at the front. 

 

Similar scooters like the Piaggio MP3 are quite popular in Europe.

I have a TriCity.  Took a trip down to Ozomoto to see about converting to a trike back in December.  This is what I learned.  Only handicapped people can get a license to ride a trike.  Ozomoto can get your conversion registered in Pattaya.  Not sure how easy it would be to do in another province even though it is  legal.  My impression is that most are not familiar with process.

 

If you want to be legal, you need a note from a doctor stating your handicap.  I would get that first.  If you are not handicapped, not sure you would want to do the conversion.  If you don't do everything legally, your insurance will be invalid along with the problems from having no license. 

 

I live in a rural area.  Do not ride that much.  Do not have a bike license.  They will not let you test with the TriCity.  I can get the bike registered as a trike, but will not be able to get a license.  Since I am rural, I am still considering the conversion.  Take my chances.  If I don't do that, I will sell the bike.  My wife's Scoopy is much easier to ride.  Not as comfortable though.
