Baht buses stopped operating at Klang at night ?

Every time I went for dinner @ Harbor Mall and left the place at about 8 pm I would walk to towards Big C Extra hoping to catch a baht bus before reaching Big C Extra.  Even after reaching Big C Extra, I would still not be able to find a baht bus.  These days, they no longer stop and park at Big C Extra waiting for passengers.  I have to walk all the way to Beach Road to catch one.

So what's with Pattaya Klang now ?  Harbor Mall, Index Living Mall not paying taxes to baht bus operators ?

That's been normal for years. They operate during the day and it is hit and miss after supper time.

If it was supper I would understand.  But here we are talking about 8.00 pm when someone may have just finished his early dinner.

It looks like the baht buses have all decided to ditch their pre-defined routes and prowl the loop between Beach Road and Pattaya Sai 2 - the most profitable line.

The evening service seems to have virtually ceased since work on the tunnel closed the Sukhumvit junction. I'm hoping when the junction reopens next month (maybe) the service will restart.

The junction will not reopen next month, period.

Its reported that they will start putting the electrical cables underground along central road from the Sukhumvit junction to third road junction in March estimated time almost 1 year.

Hey, well on an international participant forum such as this confusion may reign over terminology. As a Canuckistan board member I define supper as between 17:30-18:30.

Nothing new there.
