Hi, I want to get my first Thai motorcycle licence, and already have a 5yr Thai car licence, and a work permit (based out of office in BKK).  However my motorcycle is in Chonburi province (I live in Bang Saray on occasions)

The DLT site is not very clear on requirements for a first (temp 1 year) licence for my situation.

Questions:

My work permit based address is in BKK but I would be applying for licence in Chonburi.  Is that ok? Or can you only apply in your "home" province?  If that is so and I have to do a riding test, my bike is not in BKK.

I have a UK driving licence for motorcycles - will they accept that as evidence and not need to take the written and practical (riding) test?  If yes, does it have to be translated?

Does having a Thai 5 year car licence mean I do not have to do theory or practical tests for MC?

Regards
