Long Queues at MRT Bang Sue

Featured Replies

For MRT users.

Bang Sue is once again backed up to the escalators.

No idea what the issue is this time, but it seems to be local to Bang Sue and the rest of the system is operating normally.

Indeed it is.

Apparently it was an alarm fault (false fire alarm) which disabled (correctly) the automatic gates.

Well at least it works then..

That reminds me of years ago when i worked in the chipfactory for semiconductors. The fire-alarm went off (from the cleanrooms), the doors automatic opened for the employees (in cleansuits) to run out which they all did (hundreds of them), the internal firebrigade came within a minute......to find out that it was a false alarm ....but even worse....the alarm was from the fab nextdoor to this one where they made older model chips...

If those doors get opened it kills the production of millions of chips and costs millions of $$...since then i never trust alarmsystems anymore. If it can happen in a company like that it can happen anywhere.

Longest walk in the system AFAIK.

Like having a flight out of BKK Gate F10
