Prayut leads visit to Prem’s house in mark of respect
By The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Privy Council President General Prem Tinsulanonda praised Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha for his determination in wanting to bring prosperity to the country.

To mark the traditional Thai New Year, also known as Songkran, Prayut on Monday led Cabinet members, Armed Forces commanders-in-chief, the national police chief and other top officials to call on Prem at his Si Sao Thewes residence.

It is a tradition for the Cabinet and top military figures to pay respects to Prem, a former premier.

“To be here in unity with several Cabinet members and the military top-brass chiefs shows that we can trust the premier as our leader,” Prem said. “As long as he does not become disheartened, he will succeed in everything.”

“If I were the PM or everybody here, I would be proud of myself to have an opportunity to work for the country and return happiness to Thais people.”

Prem wished Prayut’s success in achieving everything he desired.

The surprise constitution revisions and the promulgation days ahead of the deadline and on Chakri Day must be unnerving for the military old guards. The appeal court accepting Yingluck's case may be the start of something. Wheels may be turning.

The thread is about visiting general Prem.

But not surprised, after all your job description is to twist everything into a different focus.

Unnerved you too? Back to the topic. Visiting days may be numbered.

Yea gads if praise was molasses these guy would be sliding all over the place but wait they are doing it anyway without the molasses. Raise your glasses in a toast to these two. Hopefully Thailand will never see the likes of them again.

Enough to make a grown man cry.
