stravers Posted April 14, 2017 Posted April 14, 2017 Specifically after dark. I am asking on behalf of a friend in an electric wheelchair. Anyone with first hand information? Thanks.
johng Posted April 14, 2017 Posted April 14, 2017 If you mean the promenade side of the road (doubt a wheelchair could use the other side)Then after dark you should be safe...ish but if it was me I would just avoid the whole area.Definitely avoid the whole area on the 19th
stravers Posted April 14, 2017 Author Posted April 14, 2017 Found out myself that the squirting along the path does not step and this is at 9pm. People also squirt from car windows.
1FinickyOne Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Whether or not someone anywhere in Pattaya might throw water at someone in a wheelchair might depend on the level of IQ of the person when they are drunk... I vote stay inside... just my gut feeling.

Thaidream Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Absolutely disgusting that a person who uses a wheelchair cannot carry on because fools and degenerates are allowed to disrupt peaceful people. One of these days the people 'out for blood' are going to find out that they also bleed.
CH1961 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 funny question beachroad during songkran is as dry as on a rainy day ...
bkk6060 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Songkran lovers believe anyone who is out anywhere during this time wants to be blasted with water. I would tell the guy to stay in.
balo Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Wheel chair or not , you need to stay inside to avoid getting hit by water. After 9 PM maybe it's safe, maybe...

After 9 PM maybe it's safe, maybe... Long ago before they started using ice in the water and I participated, it went on all night, or at least till the last punter got too tired and went to bed. Re the morons that MUST spray one, I was walking up a deserted soi to my hotel when a big fat b'd ( farang ) in front of his hotel decided that he just had to give me a soaking, though it was obvious that it wasn't going to met with sanuk. Too stupid to go where the action was going on. As for the electric chair, go out and will get wet- they have no mercy.
