Hello everyone             Does anyone know of a make of car dash camera that allows you to read the memory card on a phone and if so where can it be obtained.  Many thanks for any replies

Almost all car dash cams use micro SD which can be read with Android phones which supports external storage.

- built-in Wi-Fi so you can connect and download specific 3 min Slots to your phone (I.e. after accident). DrivePro has an app in Google Play Store

- micro-SD card can be taken out and put in phone / computer to read / download / backup.

- built-in shock-reader, if higher than set threshold, it will automatically take a non-deleteable film of 3 min, starting 30 seconds BEFORE the shock was detected.

Mine stores hours of film, but that is based on the SD card size.

Have it 6 months now, never an issue. Many other goodies like speed recording, GPS recording etc. that can all be switched on/off.

I have found that some  Car Cam recordings on their SD Card will only play using VLC Media Player, so an idea to install just in case.
