VFS Payment refused

Featured Replies

I have completed the online application form for a visitor visa for the UK, my payment is getting refused at the payment page saying insufficient funds or wrong card details. I have tried 4 different cards registered in Uk and Thailand and the same result. There is no way to contact VFS (which is crazy) so i wondered if anyone else has had this problem.

I have called the banks who say the cards are fine and no payment was requested....any ideas?

yes you are correct, world pay cant help as they can only deal with their customers ie VFS. I am hoping its just a glitch that will be sorted out i was just wondering if anyone else had had this problem.

Get someone else to try with their card.   Anyone can pay the fee.  You can then pay them back.

Yes thats a good idea and my next plan. The whole application is much more involved than last time i did it.

Seems very much like a tech gliche if it wont do Paypal either.

Hope it rights itself for you soon. Not a good outlook right on top of the weekend.

I got a friend to try with their card from the UK and it went through first time, it must be the IP address where i am in Africa thats causing the problem. Its strange because i dont have a problem with other payments but anyway job done. Thanks for your comments.
