New quiz question. Who is the oldest player to be sent off in the Premier League?

I remember Friedel got one at Anfield late in his career so I'll go with him.

Wee Jay in front of Stevie G....He'll be made up!????

Was hailed as the new Gerrard when we bought him; so was Danny Guthrie (remember him?).

Was great in the youth team but (lack of) size was always gonna limit him unfortunately. Great worker though. Can remember Guthrie more from his Newcastle days where he was a bit of a hacker1

Not Ruddock.

One clue for now. Managed a Premier League team after he retired from playing.

Not true sir! Was the manager bit that gave me the idea. Then I remembered him at City till he was nearly forty.

Who is the only player to score three 'Perfect' (LF/RF/Header) Hat Tricks in the Premier League?

I'll say Aguero but he scores precious few with his LF.

No not Kun.

Seen Peter Crouch and Stevie G scoring one for Liverpool recently but doubt neither got 3.

I'll go for Owen. Good with his head for his size.

Is Correct. Pick a question if you like Ace.

In your opinion who was better at their peak, Fowler or Owen?

Remember, it's not who is more of a scouser!

Fowler was probably the most instinctive and best finisher I've ever seen....even more so than Rushie. So many of his shots/headers were aimed just inside the post leaving the keeper little or no chance......Owen whilst also a decent finisher, had such tremendous pace, especially off the mark, that he was almost impossible to defend against. So, slightly different attributes, but at their peak I can't split them mate.

Owen obviously suffered from bad injury problems, but people can forget he had a very decent scoring record when he went to Madrid, off the bench a lot of the time.

However I think with the modern trend in tactics (one up front rather than two, with two wide men), there is less room for these specialist poachers e.g. Owen, Chicharito, Lineker. Your central striker needs to work a lot harder and have a better all round game.

Which player scored the fastest hat-trick in the Premier League?

Ole

With nine goals, who scored the most goals in a single European Championship tournament?
