Dentist in Bangkok for Tooth Extraction

Featured Replies

Good morning all,

Can anybody recommend a dentist in Bangkok to get a tooth extracted?

I have spent near on 2 days trying to find a Dentist in Bangkok that is able to do this in the next 2 or 3 days and has decent Internet reviews.

Have called all the major hospitals - Bumrungrad International Hospital (10 day wait), BNH (5 day wait) etc. etc.

From my research is seems that the way it works over here - "Sir, you have to see a General Dentist 1st", then when I tell them I have been to 4 in the last month, and I know what has to be done I get - "Oral Surgeon not available sir, on holidays until..."

I have also recognized the same picture of the same Oral Surgeons in Bangkok on multiple different Dentist Websites. Must be a lack of the specialist Oral Surgeons, earning big bucks, and always on holidays.

Anyway, if anyone has had a tooth extracted (it is not a wisdom tooth) in the last two weeks and had a good experience with the dental surgery can you please off any advice.

I am ok to taxi anywhere in Bangkok, just need it done ASAP.

Make an appointment now and in a couple of days it's done. Simple extractions can be done by virtually any qualified dentist. BDC in Huay Khwang is very good...but again you MUSt make an appointment for an extraction...so they can schedule the doctor.

Are you serious?  Bad reviews are normal on the internet - if there are any reviews there are almost always bad reviews.  Any street dentist should be able to pull your tooth if there is a reason to do so.

When you call don't forget to negotiate

Thanks Sheryl, but they get 2 or 3 bad reviews in the last 2 months.

As Lopburi3 said, you can find bad reviews for anything on the internet. People tend to post reviews only when they are unhappy about something

I have been there in the past 2 months, perfectly satisfied, and feedback from others on this forum, ditto. But I didn't feel the need to write an online review,,..in fact it would never occur to me to do that for a doctor or dentist.  That's how it goes.

My gf had a wisdom tooth out on Sukumvit Soi 55 and another on Soi 23. No problems at either .Local small practices. Just on a drop in basis

A pair of wire cutters?  What is that supposed to mean?

He couldn't find a photo of longnose pliers?

I got a mouthful of ceramic crowns and one implant, and always had very good experiences with Thonglor Dental Hospital.

Very professional, perfect English, as good as any US dental office.

Maybe not the cheapest, but you often get what you pay for.
