Senate Intelligence Committee requests Trump campaign documents

"The Senate Intelligence Committee, which is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential race, has asked President Trump’s political organization to gather and produce all Russia-related documents, emails and phone records going back to his campaign’s launch in June 2015, according to two people briefed on the request."

"The demand follows a Senate request months earlier for the campaign committee to preserve documents."

"Dozens of former staffers are expected to be contacted in the coming days to make sure they are aware of what they are required to produce and how to submit those documents, the people added."

Don't be silly. They are not going to leak it to you.

The Patriots will be leaking it to the appropriate authorities to help remove the inept one and his Russian dealing cronies.

At the very least, obstruction of justice charges are on the way.

For starters.

Nice try in attempting to change the narrative of my post. NOT.

And stop shouting. You appear very upset...

I find it utterly amazing that so many Republicans are bitching a/b things being leaked. We all should be applauding those who revealed Flynn's involvement (and others) w/ Turkey and Russia. Isn't our country, democracy, and rule of law more important?

An Intact American Man (Wow! What a refreshing change!) and the best qualified and so far demonstrably-competent American President and Armed-Forces Commander-In-Chief since The Great One: Ronald Wilson Reagan, despite he has the "Democrats'" Deep State and every other lying, looting, thieving, froth-and-foam-flecked Fascissocialist Psychosis sufferer clamoring for his hide, will not face legal challenge in any way shape or form, during the eight years he will be our president.

Those zealots furiously fomenting, facilitating and fabricating false allegations against him -- and against alleged members of his campaign staff -- though -- including the very many criminally-arrogant agents of the Clinton Crime Family and of the silly sookie, Soetoro's Gang, that have been embedded in the feral bureaucracy - their political appointments criminally converted to "permanent-staff" positions - may look forward to being exposed and gotten rid of. Many of them -- and to the very highest levels of the previous "administration," for their systematic corruption, many treasons, acts of espionage and other crimes - via very very long spells in prison.  Those sentences achieved, after the many rule-by-fiat "Democratic" Deep State activists presently posing as "judges" are all impeached and/or are otherwise "motivated" to resign their "judgeships."

Wow! A 48 percent approval rating. That's something to boast about. Especially when it comes from the dubious Rasmussen reports.  Anyway, your numbers are out of date. Trump is now at 46 favorable to 54 against. Even Fox news has him with a 13 point defict in popularity.

For those of you who might not know what "Soetoro's Gang" refers to, it's a fake news report that Obama was really Barry Soetoro a foreign exchange student.

It's way too early to know what democratic political flavor will work in 2020. Obviously, for now, the party has moved further left (than Obama), but I wouldn't predict what the national mood will be yet.

Hillary won't run again and I don't think Sanders will either.

Hate to say it, but I think trump's insult of Warren will persist and stick. It exploits racism in a sick way but U.S. politics is sick.

I was getting excited by the idea of Al Franken but last I heard he said he isn't running.

Corey Booker of course, but hard for me to get really excited about him (though not negative on him either).

If I was going to predict now, I'd say it will be a lesser known (now) choice like Amy Klobuchar.

I like Eric Swalwell from CA.

Reagan administration scandals

"The presidency of Ronald Reagan in the United States was marked by multiple scandals, resulting in the investigation, indictment, or conviction of over 138 administration officials, the largest number for any U.S. president."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reagan_administration_scandals

The way the buffoon in the White House is going, it looks like he intends on breaking that record.

I am sure Nate Silver's prediction did not take into account the James Comey factor, without whose intervention, Nate Silver would very likely have been right.

Just keep saying that it wuz Comey, no, it wuz the Russians, no, it wuz Sante Clawz etc etc etc.

Just never admit that it just could have been that she was a bad candidate and they ran a bad campaign.

They should have put Bernie up.

I so enjoy the posts by the anti Trumpers. Cheers me up no end on a rainy night. :clap2:

If Trump has a 48% positive rating with all the propaganda being told about him every day by the anti Trump media that is an incredibly good result.

"wuz" is a term used by 14 yr olds on mobile messages. Is that your age group? It would explain a lot.

Is that when you are not throwing tantrums and telling us you are leaving the thread and won't be back because its pointless as it's full of Trump haters? If this is what cheers you up it's a sad reflection on your life.

I'd like to respond in kind, but I know you are just trying to provoke me into saying something I'd regret.

Same here.  Sometimes I will also watch videos of Van Jones, The Young Turks, Martha Raddatz and the like on election night eve, crying about President Trump's victory.  I laugh so hard.

I voted no, not because I am a Trump supporter, but because impeachment does not automatically mean removal from office.

First of all, the standard of guilt needed for a successful impeachment is quite high.  There have only been two impeachments in US history - Johnson in the 1860s and Bill Clinton in the 1990s.  Both were impeached, that is, tried by the Senate, but not found guilty or removed from office.  It is quite possible that the same thing could happen to Trump.

Secondly, I don't think that Trump's ego and self-image would let him resign.  He may be kicked out eventually, but it will only be after a long chaotic period of political battles and growing mental instability.

Trump is in for 4, probably 8, years.  After that one of his children may take over.

Sounds like a recipe for the further debilitation of the good ol' USA which Trump is setting in motion.  Perhaps, if that happens, all American schoolkids be required to study Russian and the ruble will replace the dollar.  Somewhere, Vlad is smirking, as he hatches plans to bring former USSR states back into the fold of mother Russia.

Perhaps you also laugh hard when 23 million people can't afford health care, while the Walton family (Supermarket billionaires) get 40+ billion dollar reductions in their taxes.  Maybe you'll also find it funny when oil wells or oil tankers spill thousands of barrels of crude into the ocean.

The Bernie Sanders you claim to support even though he has opposed virtually everything Trump has done so far.

Probably many trumpists will laugh.

It's a movement that has attracted many NIHILISTS and it has take over the republican party.

To wit:

There are decent Republican people. There are Republican voters and politicians and writers who promote principles of public decency. But there aren't enough of those individuals to have prevented the Republican Party, as a national institution, from becoming one that welcomes and encourages violence and white-supremacist racism.

As usual, you continually get it wrong.

Along with the rest of the myopic Trumpeteers.

You, along with the shallow, binary Trumpeteers repeatedly fall back on your shortsighted, parochial view that this is all about Sec. Clinton.

Because, in your small world that's all you dwell upon. That's all ya got.

The real issue is, an ignorant, unqualified, incompetent, boorish, crass, uncouth, unread, loutish, discourteous, impudent person

has infested the White House.

And is a continual embarrassment to all of those who pay attention.

You just don't get it.

Or, you simply don't care.

If it is the latter case, then you are a disgrace.

As he is.

Because, beyond your trivial, divisive, party before country, pointless parlor talk, you should be alarmed.

If I read this post correctly, you  think that Donald Trump has areas he could improve in?

Well as it goes in the govt, speeches, grandstanding, gaslighting, and in the end nothing... unless, another Oswald intervention.

Let's please not make references to assassination.   Such comments generally result in suspensions.

There are probably better ways of dealing with politicians than that or military intervention.

Gotta love his pushing aside everyone to get to the very front at NATO photo op. His mentality is that exactly of his background... CEO of family owned company who called all the shots unopposed and shoved aside all those minions with him. He cannot possibly run the Govt or Country similarly cannot change his ways. Impeach must happen.

The BBC cut to live coverage of his remarks at the US naval base in Sicily. He summarised the trip. Watching it 2 things struck: first he makes George W Bush look like an erudite sophisticate, second, What on earth did the American people do to deserve this. It is not going to end well.
