2nd hand motorbike!

Featured Replies

Im bored of scooters now! im looking for a fairly bigger bike thats noob friendly. either 150-250cc price range from 20-50k. As for model Im not fuss long as the bike is in good condition with green book etc... if u know any good websites or if someone is selling one here let me know pls. much appreciated!

Plenty ads out there pay cash for a good deal anything under 400 is not look at as a big-bike.

...understand from another posting lately,

that there is an motocy auction In BKK.

Low milage re-pos there.

Likely others could give details.

Ask mocy taxi.

Ask at bank.

Heck, might be info on the inter-web,

who knows?

Try for a Yamaha 150 M-Slaz repo.

Recover most of the B50K if

you move up later.

Yep.

Join the club, I also like to try a non scooter type bike, but I recently got a scooter so will be playing with that for a while, perhaps will look at something in the new year.

But after sitting up right on scooters for so many years I am looking at a cruiser type bike that you sit on comfortably - I can't see myself bending down over the handle bar, and in some cases almost going horizontal - I know this is the love of many bike riders to do but I am sure I get tired after 20 min in that position.

Anyway, for used cruisers in the 40k-50k baht range I found these options:

Honda Phantom 250 = Thai made, no longer produced, many used ones around, almost any Thai can repair it !!!

Kawasaki Boss 175 = Again no longer produced, less common than above, but a very descent bike

Keeway 200, 250 = Chinese made, can find a 2 or 3 years old in that price range, I think parts and repairs not as common like Phantom

Lyfan 250-B carb, 250-P EFi  both V-Twin engine = Chinese bike but made in Thailand I think, same as Keeway

These are a bit big and heavy, but you can say they are comfy for a long ride and cruising. (See the thread I opened recently talking about these.)

I found bahtsold website has some used bike ads (specially from farangs) and there's craiglist and classified on here ThaiVisa and one or two other sites.

Good luck...

The Phantom is 200 cc, but probably the best cheap option there is...People have been riding all across Thailand with these small cruisers for years.

can google this, Honda CBR 250, 2011 ABS Combined

looks in good shape etc. I would have bought it at that price.. but also don't like the CBR, I just sold my CB500F
