Dialysis Treatment in Pattaya

Featured Replies

I have a friend who needs to budget a bit better, he current needs dialysis 3 times a week. Anyone has any suggestion where he might go particularly in Pattaya, provide cost would also be helpful.

Thanks

Try:

1. Pattaya City Hospital - they have a dialysis center though I cannot say for certain if it includes hemodialysis (soem govt hospitals only do periotoneal)  http://pattayacityhospital.go.th/en/services

2. The Red Cross hospital in Chonburi town - definitely does it.  http://www.somdej.or.th/index.php/2015-09-03-09-01-57/423-11-11-2559-2

I can't say re cost exactly but it will be a fraction of what it costs in a private hospital.

As these are public hospitals, they will be very crowded and waits will be involved. the initial visit especially may be a bit daunting and best to have a Thai speaker along. Once he has gotten through the registration process and initial checks ups and bee negistered for dialysis treatment it will be easier (though still more of a wait than at a private hospital). However the cost savings will be quite significant and the quality (though not the ambiance/amenities) just as good.
