NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: -- A hospital in Southern Thailand is finally saying enough is enough and is calling time on stray dogs that have taken over the facility.

Pictures shown online at Maharat Hospital in Nakorn Sri Thammarat showed dozens of filthy dogs:

Roaming in packs in the hospital grounds

Apparently fornicating in the waiting areas

Suckling their litters on seating for the public

Pooh-ing all over the place

Rummaging through hospital trash and spreading it all around

and even

Lounging about on patient gurneys

Following complaints from news media Manager in September the authorities have finally decided to do something.

So that have set up a committee and asked some vets what to do next.

Meanwhile, they have asked the public not to abandon their pets at the hospital and stop feeding the strays.

The hospital said there were 50 strays roaming about and these were increasing by two litters every month.

Manager reissued their story about the hospital but it was not clear when the management had finally decided to act on the matter.

OOOOHH soooo rude, how they can be so cruel? If nobody uses the bed why can't dog  lay there?

I saw the same in BKK, the hospital was loaded with pidgins who could sit anywhere so that's what they did. The doors to the balcony were open all day so they could easy come in the overloaded patients rooms.

First things first. Set up a committee and book a resort for a seafood buffet lunch and dinner. Problem solved.

Did someone mention rabies?
