Brake failure ?!?!?! could be the usual excuse !!!

Sea research at its finest.

But like they say, any landing you walk away from is a good one.

"Ok which of you bastards nicked the floats"

Someone call the Chinese quick!!!  The Navy's going to placing an order soon for new airplanes...

Along with the Chinese submarines, Chinese armored personnel carriers, Chinese tanks, and who knows what else...

Yes, because western material is much more expensive.

However, Chinese material, can it be trusted?

It is a Thai Navy experimental sea plane. Still experimenting? :whistling:

Yup, that didn't work.

Pilot training day 1. This is a plane, it flies and lands on the ground.

This is water and your plane does not look good floating on it.

Day 2. Trainee pilots throw your mobile phone into the air. It falls right.

This is gravity, it sucks you back to the ground, above water it sucks more.

Day 3  .. .. ..

We have had the trains and boats, so why not planes to round things off?

If the pilot walked away from that one, he can come round to my house and turn the water into wine!

I wonder what kind of conversations one can have with a Sea Turtle. I just don't imagine them being very loquacious.

An ultralight airplane is not the best choice for Search & rescue operation that are most of the time made  bad weather.

But to fly around the Satthip beaches on a nice day it is OK.

Maybe the budget is gone to the submarine ...
