CityNews – Uber is launching UberArt, and there will be five moving galleries traversing Chiang Mai through this collaboration with Toddyinthemood and four Chiang Mai artists.

UberArt marks the first time that Uber Thailand teams up with Chiang Mai illustrator artists including, Toddyinthemood, Brightside, NEOW, NUTKAI and Soper10m, transforming five Uber rides into moving galleries.

“Uber believes that art is always in motion, just like travel, so this campaign should serve as a creative way for both Chiang Mai people and visitors to be moved by local artistic senses while travelling with us” said Krittiyawadee Pongpanich, Head of Communications, Uber Thailand.

Toddyinthemood explained his inspiration for this project saying, “Travelling and arts are aligned. Experience plays a vital part in creating art and while travelling new experiences are always generated. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s not. So, in this project I tried to express various different moods from daytime, evening and at night”
