Yingluck strayed over the border collecting mushrooms,  found it difficult to re-enter

Diversion ? She is hiding in Thai, living outside Thailand or dead ?

Living in a house that straddles the border

Of course, she got help from inside Thailand, the question is " who has helped her?"

"Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan said he believes fugitive-ex premier Yingluck Shinawatra fled the country with help from people inside Thailand.

Despite saying there had been a lot of progress in the investigation, Prawit said on Saturday that authorities had no idea who helped her escape."

Well, who would have thought it- what a surprise?

I am amazed and astounded at this mans intelligence, and yet he says it so honestly and sincerely. he was I am sure only speaking to allay fears of internal struggles in the NCPO due to the major cock-up in security and competence.

"... they could be classified as halfwits."

Really? That good? :whistling:

With 25 million supporters it is a possibility. LLTL!

Question, who are they going to get to investigate her disappearance if she does not show up soon, no one in Thailand will be able too. if not dead the longer she stays out of sight the more the world is going ask, who has done what?

I Say !!

Golly bob howdy, give that man a rubber chicken!

It is so cleared as to why you aren't running the country. You are very lucky through family or connection to be where you are.

Indeed she did.  One person to provide the bicycle and a second to make her up and dress her in this brilliant disguise:

Thus she was able to carry out her audacious plan to escape "in plain sight" by cycling, alone, across Thailand and into ...........ha! you'll have to work that one out for yourself Mr Toad.

The woman is dazzling in her breathtaking ingenuity and daring.

No wonder the people hold her in such high esteem and pray for her safety and well being.

He is whats known as an over achiever, a little bit out of his depth, but not on his own by any yardstick

Pardon my ignorance, but what was the verdict?

Doesn't running away more or less "say" something about one's guilt or innocence?

Isn't this all a trifle shoddy?  Theatre of the politically absurd.

My god it gets worse, Does any one think she got in the motor drove to the border and walked across, then hitched a ride to an airport?

I must stop reading these story's as it will give me brain damage or I may die of laughter.

Could be sheer theatre.  He possibly keeps talking about it to make people think she escaped rather than let go.  Her disappearance diffused political crisis.  It is not out of the realm of possibility that they looked the other way while she slipped out of the country.

Indeed - certainly not out of the realm of possibility eyes were looking the other way. Or maybe even a little bit more proactive than that?

Careful now, picking wild mushrooms apparently carries a much more severe sentence than gross negligence! :whistling:

Just when you thought it couldn't get more farcical...

Oh I'm sure there's a lot more mileage in this yet! Should take us up to December and the pantomime season nicely!

Monty Python, Allo Allo, and Get Smart all rolled into one with a touch of surreal for good measure.

To be fair, Chalerm was entertaining but not this good!

Thailand: The land made safe for morons.

Brilliant. Who would have ever thought that Yingluck had help in her escape?

Of course she had help…… Almost certainly including some from some in high places, who likely turned a blind eye at moments convenient to her…… at least.

It is one thing closing the stable door, but beating your dumb head against it........

I always reckoned that he couldn't be as dumb as he looks.
