My summary why I know this is troll thread:

 

1.  No Thai wife allows small problem develop into huge problem and cause family embarrassment and thereafter danger to their health in Thailand (one meeting with school fine but then move child to other school if not successful meeting);

2.  OP is Jewish but sends his child to Christian school;

3.  One minute the OP going to pull kid from school the next minute not then says that he has a lot of parents that will follow him and kid to other school (2000% certain that's not going to happen as no one cares for his silly injustice);

4.  Thread gone on to long for sake of a few thousand baht;

5.  To much religion brought to thread as does not matter what religion when come to money;

6.  Refuse to say how long his family in Thailand for

I went looking for a cuckold forum here on ThaiVisa with no luck.  I can't help you with #1 but I can offer you some advice. 

 

I am the head of the house, not my Thai wife.  I'm the man, she's the woman. It's not only the natural order of things and it is exactly what she expects.  She is onboard with this concept.  

 

#3 I have been clear that I will explore new schools and likely move my son to a BETTER school.  While you may feel conspiracies abound, most parents would prefer to send their kids to a better school.  Had you carefully read anything I've written here, then you would know that I have discovered other parents who are not happy with the school in general.  I discovered this by talking to them.

 

You got me on #5.  I'll have to lookup in the Physician's Desk Reference just how much religion is allowed in a thread before it becomes suspicious.  Money is a tough one, but I recall from my Jesuit Spirit in Action Classes, that Jesus was sold out for a handful of silver.  So money does have much to do with religion.  Just look for the passing of the plate to figure that out.

Just got off the phone with the headteacher.  Tomorrow I will meet with him (Philipino) and the director (Thai).  

 

The phone call was recorded.

 

Who provides the van service?  The school.

 

Who determines the cost of the van?  The driver.

 

Does the driver work for the school? I don't know.

 

Does the driver leave the school during the day?  No.

 

I got a lot of crap answers but here is what I told him.  

 

The school has charged the White Boy 1000b more than the Asian looking boys.  Half of those Asian boys are foreign.  The school runs under the direction of the Thai Ministry of Education and answers to them. 

 

The school is owned by a foreigner.

 

My son is a Thai enrolled as a Thai student.

 

"So Mr. headteacher, what do you think will happen when my Thai wife calls the ministry of education to complain that a Thai boy is being discriminated against by a foreign-owned school."

 

Answer:  "I understand."

 

Damn right he understood.  When my wife gets going, she will cause a rectal exam to happen to that school and management.  

 

I told them I want an apology, return of my overpayments, and a complete explanation as to how this took place.  

 

I'm not done, not by a longshot.

I think you have handled this well and stepped up rather than allowed yourself to be fobbed off. 

 

The next foreign parents at this school are far more likely to be treated equally after this, as a result you have done those following in your footsteps a favor. Equally so, any further similar issues will be dealt with quickly and far more efficiently now that they see the lengths you are prepared to go to to fight a clear albeit minor injustice.

 

Next thing you need to do is to push things along and ensure ALL children are wearing their seatbelts in the van. Demand photos ! (I did this when my child went on a day trip).

Private schools can enroll whomever they choose.  You are an embarrassment to yourself.  Transportation is a critical part of education.  Filipino teacher? Sounds like a pretend international school, where they speak four languages, but none better than an 8 year old.

My son is Thai.  He is enrolled.  His bill is paid. He is one month into the 1st month of the 2nd semester.  Got it? Do you understand?

This school teaches in English only.  I don't think they are classified as private as they teach the Thai Curriculum but all of it in English.  They are licensed by the Ministry of Education subject to their rules and regulations. 

 

It is you who embarrasses yourself.  You assumed facts, not in evidence.  Next time you'll be more careful.

You ought to educate yourself by reading the entire thread.  It has come to light, that the school gave the van driver the ability to set the pricing even though the school says they provide the service.  Maybe they knew all along but as of now, they are claiming they didn't know.  

 

Regardless, I paid the school, and they overcharged me.  That is not in dispute.  Now I want my money back, and I will get it.
