Haze/smog in Hua Hin?

Featured Replies

Has anyone else noticed the haze over Hua Hin at the moment?

This photo is taken on Soi 94 and you can normally see Hin Lek Fai in the distance. But for the past couple of days it has been covered in haze/smog?

Anyone else seen this or am I going mad?

Pattaya and surrounding areas are just the same, been like this for a week now?

I live in HH. Yesterday was very humid, the air was heavy with water vapor...not pollution. Today normal

I agree, I've noticed the dense haze in the air for about a week here in Hua Hin.  Sometimes it even smells like smoke.  First time I've seen it this bad in 4 years.  I was talking with friends at dinner tonight, we don't know what is causing it.

we were in prachuap city on sunday and it was very noticeable down there.  i think it is a weather phenomenon rather than pollution

It is noticeable in Bangkok...

Usually there isn't much smog or apparent air pollution in Bangkok once we get away from Sukhumvit road (all those busses)...

However, Air Pollution has been very noticable in Bangkok for the past couple of days.

It is worse than I've noticed it for years.

Reeeeeaaaaly bad this morning, heavy smell of smoke in the air, had to close all the patio doors, definitely smoke from fires. I am at the top of 88 near the hills, cannot see them at all.....

It's that time of the year when fields are burned and with not much wind......Sometimes on approach into Chang Mai it almost becomes a CAT 2 approach.....
