The Tourism Authority of Thailand will hold an international kite festival in Hua Hin next weekend.

Deputy TAT governor Sujitra Jongcharnsittho says the Thailand International Kite Festival 2018 will be held at the Army Non-Commissioned Officer School next to Ratchapak Park from Friday to Sunday, with the theme “Heroes in the Air”.

Tourists from at least ten countries are expected to join in and the park will have a DIY corner for them to design and paint their own kites.

There will also be several food trucks showcasing the seaside resort’s signature dishes.

Hello,
Is there transportation (bus, or other means) to get there. Thank you

Regular bus service from Hua Hin Market area (small orange bus) to Pranburi and return every 20 minutes passes the Park of the Seven Kings and the adjacent NCO School. About 8kms south of town on the main Phetchakasem Road.

Don't, however, tell your Thai friends that you are 'going to fly a kite', at least, not in Thai......

"Fly a kite"  (len waao) is OK.

Indeed, if you are seen with a kite, you will be exhorted to do so.

"Pulling" a kite is what you should avoid (in public).

Thank you for this information and, I promise, I take note of ALL THESE TIPS:welcomeani:
