Left click on the link then on weather from there and you will get 5 options.

Each one will give you a drop down list of the Provinces covered.

( Some provinces give limited information )
If you hover over anyone of these you can click on your choice of province
and get the forecast for that particular one.

Click on your choice of province and you will get a dropdown list of what

looks like Amphoes in that province then click on your choice.

There is an option at the top to choose "search for location" which is most

likely to be limited to local Tumbons, Amphoes and City.

Click on one of the options given, I use hour by hour.

Wife up in Loei isn't happy.  Hot.  Bad electrical service, so can't use aircon.  Lights dim and the fan slows down. She got neighbors to sign a group letter and forwarded to authorities.  Maybe put it in the budget to install new service/transformer in 6 months to a year.  It's a start.

The power drops to below 170 volts every evening between 6 PM and 9 PM in most of the moobahns around Meuang Udon Thani. Petitions, letters, demonstrations usually result in a couple of engineers with a meter checking voltage when it's up around 240 volts... at around 3 PM, just before they knock off for the day.

They build sh!t, low-budget infrastructure to begin with and need to be cajoled into bolting on the transformers that should have been there since the get-go. The authorities already have the money for these transformers but I guess that's the first, easy rip-off in PEA local governorship 101 handbook.

Reading your post Nan, makes for slightly depressing reading.

Got a very similar problem with the Electric supply here also, we live in the NSR area.

Patlom speeds up, slows down, as does the air con, & also the electric oven takes so long to cook.

40 years ago, I had to turn on fluorescent lights before dark even with a multi-tap step-up transformer or they wouldn't light. The Buddhist Wat just up the street apparently has plenty of power to blast all kind of noise on festival occasions. Generators?

Although the electrical situation in Sri Chiang Mai has improved drastically in the last six years, everytime we get a thunder and lightning storm , our power goes out. Every time. Six hours on Wednesday night, and now during the afternoons, while repairs are taking place.

Chap I was visiting out Nong Wua So way says that if there's any sort of wind in the area, the lights go out, no need for thunder and lightning. But lurching off-topic, sorry.

Nice links there Ron, especially the Norwegian weather viewer. I am in northwest Myanmar and it's getting close to run away before the floods time and this is a handy viewer... when we have enough bandwidth on the ipStar.

Also, Mrs NL is running the rels back to Ubon this weekend so I'll let her know what to expect. Good job I changed the wiper blades on the sports lorry just before I left!
