For those interested that have been following the search, a new season of The Curse of Oak Island has started.

There have been documented treasure hunts, investigations and excavations on Oak Island since the 1850s. There are many theories about what, if anything, might be buried or concealed there. Areas of interest on the island with regard to treasure hunters include a location known as the Money Pit, a formation of boulders called Nolan's Cross, the beach at Smith's Cove, and a triangle-shaped swamp.[4] The Money Pit area has been repeatedly excavated; critics argue that there is no treasure and that the Money Pit is a natural phenomenon.[5]

More than fifty books have been published recounting the island's history and exploring competing theories.[6] Several works of fiction have been based upon the Money Pit, including The Money Pit Mystery, Riptide, The Hand of Robin Squires, and Betrayed: The Legend of Oak Island.

On January 5, 2014, the History Channel began airing The Curse of Oak Island, a documentary series about a group of modern treasure hunters led and funded by two brothers, Rick and Marty Lagina, who purchased the majority of Oak Island in 2006.

That was good. Lost some of the freshness but made up for it with serious drama from the middle onwards and an intense climax. Sweet ending w/ controversial kiss. Looked forward to each episode.

Finished up Ozark, not bad. The Deuce (looking forward to next season), Ray Donovan. And

Lenny http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071746/,

Stoned  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0426627/,

Nightwish: Vehicle of Spirit live at Wembley Arena (2016) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6385086/?ref_=nv_sr_6 (latest singer Floor Jansen awesome),

Dead Ringers http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094964/ (weirder than true real story),

Northern Soul http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1837613/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 (What happened to those Northern Soul nights in Pattaya?)

Definitely Donovan.

How about Dice on Showtime or Bosch on Amazon?

Mindhunter had some grittiness and great acting.

Definitely Bosch. Dice--I'm not big on comedy unless dark comedy a la Cohen Bros. Mindhunter I watched a couple of episodes and found the main character so annoying that it was a little to easy to change to something else. However I know I didn't give it a chance, and so I'll surely come back to it. I've got Gunpowder, Fargo, and possibly Six Feet Under (finally) queued.

Bloodline was watchable if you'd seen the previous seasons but enough was enough; no wonder it got cancelled. I also finally watched True Detective Season 2. I was a bit too busy to listen to all the dialogue when it first came out. Actually it wasn't that bad. Hope Season 3 will be more like Season 1. Need to get back to the Southern grotesques. ;)

I hear about this film with weird name. Darkly humorous crime film. Three billboards in ebbing, missouri

It's rated 8.4 IMdb and it's advertised on terrarium but nit links just yet.

Could be good.

Don't rush mindhunter which was sketchy 2 episodes in but did get much better. Mindhunter s2 a year away.

Ray Donovan is one of the best shows on TV, but like anything, some people love it, others hate it.

Is it me or do others find they cant understand half the things actors say today Peaky Blinders .it used to be hard but half of what they say i miss .thats it another series dumped and i used to enjoy it perhaps they just go on to long

What's wrong with using subtitles? Got quite used to them myself after watching so many English-subtitled movies w/ Thais. Never a need to pause and replay for some bit of dialogue you missed. And I'd definitely use them w/ Peaky Blinders.

https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search2/sublanguageid-all/moviename-peaky+blinders

If you have the episodes on disk you can use this really fine utility to get them automatically. Does renaming and other stuff as well. I use it all the time!

https://sourceforge.net/projects/filebot/

To use filebot you'll have to register at opensubtitles.org. No big deal; they don't spam you (well, I may have used a temp address). Then you have to put your login details into filebot. It's not obvious; the author wants to sell an upgrade to make it easier. But you can just follow the instructions here:

I use MPC-HC media player to view downloaded video files.  This program has built in subtitle download functionality to pull from 4 sources (Opensubtitles, Ponapsis, SubDB, Napisy24-for Polish only).  You can set it to auto-find, and enable/show subtitles.  If subtitle is not available from these sources, I get them from addic7ed.com (TV shows) or Subscene (for movies and TV shows).

That's doable. MPC-HC is no longer in development, BTW, but MPC-BE still is. Another decent source is http://www.tvsubs.net/.

Saw “Justice League”, today. Good graphics and action, not much in the way of dialogue or plot which was not surprising, but the acting seemed pedestrian at best, which was a disappointment.

Overall good kid movie. Saw it in 4DX at Paragon which the kid loved but I hated. Would have been nice for ten minutes, but two hours of being jerked around by the seat was annoying.

I did think the little spoof on the old Wonder-Woman/Flash on the beach joke was cute. But for that little clip I would expect the “Flash” to be coming out in the next edition....
