Lost In London with Woody Harrelson, who also directed it. Brilliant, I loved it.

I might add that this movie amazingly was shot in a single take.

Being an Aussie, I have never really been aware of Alan Partridge aka Steve Coogan, but have now downloaded all of his TV series like, Mid Morning Matters, Knowing Me, Knowing You, and I'm Alan Partridge, really funny stuff. I can now understand his popularity. His movie The Trip and Trip to Spain etc with Rob Brydon are also worth watching, also Alpha Papa.

On this theme , I’ve just finished season two of Preacher and can’t wait for season 3 to start !! ( June 24th ).

Anyone else a fan ??

I loved season 1, but took a break halfway through season 2. I kind of forgot about it, but will take it up again.

Barry was my favorite show recently.

Carry on Brussels --- If your interested in the whole Brexit thing--its a fly on the wall series (its amazing how these MEPs forget about the camera after a while and start arguing etc..... This series (just 3 parts)  steps into the curious world of the Brussels bubble, and it follows an eclectic group of British MEPs from across the political spectrum as they buckle up for the ride of their lives on the Brexit roller coaster.

I liked it, but not as much as some other people. Stopped watching a season or two ago and can't be bothered to figure out where.

Last night watched the very last episode of Kingdom (the one about MMA fighting and a dysfunctional bunch of people). I think it ended last year. Good show. Too bad no fourth season.

Some excellent (New York Times and Slate) commentary to help people process the finale of The Americans.

I was very satisfied with the finale. It could have gone so many other ways, but the way it went worked brilliantly.

I don't actually think there will be spinoffs.

What I didn't understand was the dream Elizabeth had, about being in bed with a black guy...

Any ideas, anyone?

Edit: Never mind...it was an alternate life with Gregory.

Killed by My Debt

BBC 3 is doing a series of dramatised factual stories...killed by my Debt shown 2 nights ago , it shows how a £130 debt can turn into over a £1,000 in quite a short time--you think That the Thai lenders are bad, they dont come anywhere near the 1,800% interest on "Pay-Day loans" that can be charged in the UK.

In a short time the bailiffs are knocking on this kids door---and for him there seems to be just one way out.

Suicide is now the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK .

This film is the latest addition to BBC3’s award-winning series of one-off factual dramas that has also included "Murdered By My Boyfriend For Being Different". ..etc all of them have quite well known UK stars.

'Tracy Ulmann does the news' is back and is hilarious, and there's an unaired episode of panorama from '79 re Jeremy Thorpe going out immediately after Hugh Grants dramatisation ends this evening uk time.

Both on the beeb.

Found a UK fly on the wall police program, based on the work of the Bedfordshire police. You are with them from start to finish with their cases, including suspect interviews. I found it riveting, and the crap the police have to dealing with. Each episode covers something different, you name it it is covered...

Called "24 Hours in police custody"...On YouTube...

"Body in the grass' and "Body in the garden"  were good...
