Looking to buy a new Ford Ranger Wildtrak, with the 3.2 engine, manual shift, all options, the wife is being told it is not available and the burnt orange color also not available, anyone run into this problem, has anyone recently bought a Wildtrak and if so how did you go about it, please share your experience, thanks.

Thought in Thailand only the 2.2 was available in a manual box? 3.2 auto only...

Didn't know that, salesperson didn't explain, just said don't have.

The 3.2 Wildtrak only comes with AT, the 2.2 Wildtrak has the MT option.

 

The basic price differential is 99,000 baht.

 

The color on the current PX2 model is now called Pride Orange (2015-now)

 

The Burnt Orange was for the previous PX model (2011-2015) and is not available.

Ford have this thing called a 'website' that shows you what options are available.

Ahem...I am pretty sorry that some peeps are wrong here.

 

Ford Ranger Wildtrack 4x4 1.5cab does have manual on 3.2l engines. I’ve been to a small dealer near the round about in Udon Thani. On the price list and types, engines did show me that the ford does have it.

No 3.2 manual Wildtrak for the Thai market, only a 3.2 manual XLT.

Well...I haven’t got the brochure of the ford anymore, i’m willing to go to the ford dealer soon again to ask for the brochure. I would take the pic for ya to prove I wasn’t kidding. I sure have seen it and the dealer told me that too and seen the demo. The Ford Ranger/Wildtrack with smartcab/extra cab however it’s called has 4X4 wheel drive with 3.2 engine and got manual tranny.

My English brochure from a few years back ( specs may have changed ) .Wildtrak Double Cab 4X4 with the 3.2 Duratorq engine - 6 speed manual gearbox , with a option of a 6 speed auto gearbox .

The dealer you visited is owned by Thikacharoen, the only Ford dealership in Udon with their main office on the Mitrapharb Highway 2, about 8 km south of Udon city center on the way to Khon Kaen.

 

You are correct that there's a 4x4 3.2 MT offering on the Open (1.5) cab configuration. Thanks for spotting that.

The price list on Ford Thailand website https://www.ford.co.th/en/buying/price-list/

only shows Wildtrack as double cab. 
The 3.2L Wildtrack is shown as an Auto.
The Manual 3.2L is  an XLT Open Cab.
