Popular Post ThaiPauly
I would like to raise a couple of points. Firstly I would not invest too much in this venture, Grab could go the same way as Uber. Now there are lots of taxi drivers who are signing up with Grab because of the reduced business they are getting. As an example in 2016 there were 5,000 Uber cabs in London. In 2017 there were 20,000. This can't go on, there are only so many people out there that need taxis and so many people are jumping on the Grab Taxi merrygoround because it looks like easy money from the outside and may seem to some a better option than working in McDonalds, but it has been proven in London that you can earn more in McDonalds than you can driving an Uber Cab...I think after all expenses were paid out the average wage was about a fiver an hour!! My other point is that I would not be happy letting my wife drive around maybe drunk strangers at chucking out times. I found it bad enough for myself, a guy back in the 70's in London when I drove taxis part-time. I was threatened with a knife twice, lost the fair on both occasions obviously, I don't know where you live, but it needs to be a pretty safe area, I would not be able to sit at home watching the clock waiting for my wife to come home safely but of course it's your decision
