RC30 .. Homologation bike based on the VFR750F but tricked up with titanium engine components , qr front wheel , multi-adjustable suspension and 180° crank over the VF's 360° for a broader spread of power amongst others ..

Won the WSB in its first 2 seasons , numerous production bike titles , the IOM TT and endurance racing like the Bol d'Or .. few made available to Joe public and those that were are either in collection's or Sunday morning use .. reflected in the price where the last couple I've seen for sale were over £30k ..

Great speedway race at 5:40.  Four of the great riders, 3 were/are World champs.  Bartosz Zmarzlik won the championship for the second year in a row.  Tai Woffinden was second and "Fast Freddie" Lindgren was third. Jason Doyle was 6th.  These guys make it look easy.

Any Lambretta is a Vespa killer but that turns my crank.

Two's company.  Does exactly what it says in the description:

More sidecar action, especially for any Van Halen fans...

Bad-ass Puch-powered  chopper.  Gotta get me some.  Are those lights acetylene lamps?  Needs a rubber bulb horn.

I had to laugh.  It reminded me of frogs jumping, especially the  guys with green gear.

Looks like the German Army trying to get out of Russia in WW2.  Run away !!!

Bit more on the RC30 above ..

Holds the lap record for the " green hell " 20.8 km version of the fearsome Nordschleife track in Germany ..

Recorded in 1993 on a bog standard bike with road tires ( sponsored by Metzeler ) with German professional motorcycle racer Helmut Dahnë on board it recorded an officially recognised lap time of 7:49,71 .. almost certainly that will never be broken as the track lost it's safety accreditation the following year a consequence of which was that no officially recognised runs on motorcycles could take place there again .. to put Herr Dahnë's achievement into context the most recent unofficial fastest lap I've seen was 2020 when someone claimed a 7:10 on a R1M but that is a significantly more powerful bike with the latest semi track tyres ..

The fastest lap for a E46 BMW M3 ( 330hp ) is only a second quicker than the Honda ..

Herr Dahnë giving it some ..

Yamaha's OWO1 750 from late 80's ..

Same brief as the Honda , a homologation version of the FZ750 sports bike but probably even more hardcore than the H was with Ohlins suspension , huge Nissin brakes and a motor that revved to 13000 rpm .. as rare as the H and command the same sort of prices ..

Not forgetting Suzuki's legendary mid 80's GSXR750 , probably the first of the homologation race replica's ..

100 hp at the time may not seem huge by today's standards but Honda's mighty CBX 1000 of only a couple of years earlier made 105 .. and the Suzook was remarkably light for a 750 of the day at 172 kg dry .. air and oil cooled lump , ally' frame , those pitlane clocks and a classic Suzuki colour scheme made it one of the bikes of the 80's .. later models lost it's svelte waifness getting fatter and overcooked even if the most recent models are capable of 170 mph ..

If bikes were chocolate then Kawasaki's ZXR-750 would be one of those chunky brick like KitKat's .. about the class average of the time at around 110 hp but a little porkier than the Suzook or Yam at 202 kg dry .. and complete with Kawa's vacuum cleaner piping ram air thingy

( did they get some stick for that ) .. not as lauded as the others of the day but still a good bike of the type .. especially in the green/blue ..

Riedel Imme R100

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imme_R100

Single-sided fork and swing arm which was also the exhaust pipe! The engine pivoted similar to today's scooters.  Unfortunately they made the engine with a bearing on only one end of the crankshaft.
