Justgrazing Posted April 15, 2019 Posted April 15, 2019 GSXR 750 .. Said by many to be the bike that started the race replica style .. Personally I just thought they were a good bike to ride , bit hardcore and fussy but focused and they didn't hang around for a mid 80's 750 .. And the clocks .. straight outta the pitlane that style were back then .. 2

Damrongsak Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Interesting story about Curtiss: https://newatlas.com/glen-curtiss-pioneer-aviator-land-speed-record-holder/46766/ Curtiss remained "the fastest man in the world," the title the newspapers gave him for going faster than any vehicle, on land, sea or air, until 1911, when his absolute record was broken by the 141.7 mph (228.0 km/h) Blitzen Benz automobile. No motorcycle surpassed the record until 1930 2

Popular Post ballpoint Posted May 2, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 2, 2019 (edited) Just got an email from Triumph on the official release of the Rocket 3 TFC. Like the Thruxton TFC, only 750 have been made. Price is £25,000 in the UK, and THB 1.15 Million here. Probably a wee bit more for number 001. Edited May 2, 2019 by ballpoint 5

Popular Post CGW Posted May 3, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 3, 2019 ^ I like the "cracked ice" finish on the engine casing - or is it just badly corroded? The accents added with the tasteful anodized spacers and especially the inner tube valve caps really set it apart, the Patina on the exhaust is tasty also ???? ????
