So what's this?

Featured Replies

Found inside the remnants of a coconut filled with coconut fibre this morning, eggs, about 18mm long.

I want to hatch them out, the wife doesn't like the look of them at all.

Any ideas?

Yes, put the eggs with the coconut remains in a terrarium and see a miracle, good lesson if you have kids.

The wife will hate me. They'll go in the chicken incubator.

Poached or scrambled!

Depends on the conditions they've been subject too.

Also, you would need to google the right temps/humidity required to hatch them in your incubator.

I've always wanted to give it a go but never come across any eggs.. Found Mum a few times though ?

Just to remind you cobras, if they are cobras eggs, new born cobras are in fact more deadly than fully mature cobras.

They haven't learned to control venom delivery and deliver the full load.

Mature cobras can do a 'dry hit' as a piss off and leave me alone, young cobras carry as much venom as an adult and you get the Full Monty.

???

How will you get them out of the incubator.

I would use a 12 bore to get them out by the way.

FYI

31/32 C or 88 to 90 F is the ideal temperature along with high humidity.

Good points, what do I do with them when they do hatch out, I think I'll discretely leave them somewhere.

You should not put in Chicken egg incubator,as reptile eggs should

not be turned, unlike Chicken eggs, and more likely to be lizard eggs,

as snake eggs are elongated.
