Hang Dong police in Chiang Mai province raided two properties at The Celio housing estate yesterday after reports they were being used for a server for an online gambling operation.

Armed with search warrants the cops found six Chinese people advertising the website at a house.

Sanook reported the website was mm88one.

In a house nearby they arrested the man in charge by the name of Thonbadee, aged 30.

They have all been charged with offences related to illegal gambling.

Legalise all the taboos in Thailand that they go after but are hidden in plain view. Gambling, drugs, prostitution. It's all happening. Legalise it, control it and remove it from the control of the gangsters. Or could it be that the people running these illicit taboos are the people in power - monks, police, army etc.

Let all the Chinese in. Oh Yeah VIP status. How many Chinese have been busted in gang activity already?

I'm waiting for the next huge contract bridge bust to happen in Chiang Mai.  :clap2:

Ah! Chinese the quality tourist that Thailand wants?????
