Troops distribute drinking water to flooded Phetchaburi community

Troops were dispatched on Saturday to hand out drinking water to flood-inundated residents of a large community in Phetchaburi province.

 

For three days, the residents of Wihan Yai community located beside Phetchaburi Central Prison in Muang district have been under about 50 centimetres of water.

 

The Supreme Command’s Development Corps sent their 13th mobile unit to help the residents.

Very generous to give them free water and sand bags. Maybe next year they can release the water from the damn before rainy season so they don't need to flood the city? Just a thought....
