Can anyone give recommendations (including by PM) on contractors used for re-flooring work and re-painting of walls and rough costs. I am looking to have work done in our lounge, kitchen and hallway (condo) and the floor area is no more than 50 sqm.

Sorry should have mentioned. In Bangkok and specifically Ratchada area.

If I were you i'd be more specific especially about the flooring type.

Parquet and tile are two different trades.

Possibly for the flooring aswell.

You should be able to easily ask around for recommendation - neighborhood, local shops, look for construction sites, etc.  You are likely to want the painting done first as Thai painters are not known for keeping things tidy.  Read the many threads in this forum about proper painting techniques if you want to make sure it's done right.  And, try to get quote for labor only paying for materials yourself.  

im interested of how much did you pay by SQM for floor laminate and wallpaint ?
