Waterfront crane removal proceeds

PATTAYA:--Removal of the giant construction crane at the stalled Waterfront Suites & Residences project should be complete by month’s end.

Inspector Cris Chertsuriya said Sept. 19 that contractor Worakit Construction Co. had already installed necessary support equipment and a smaller crane was taking away pieces of the towering boom.

Pattaya ordered the removal of the huge crane sitting unused at the top of the 53-floor Waterfront tower for more than two years, calling it a safety hazard.

What's the actual status of the project?  Dead, or temporarily stalled?

what a question it is obvious they will have lost out....unless they employ a lawyer to try and recover any monies already deposited...

Good money after bad.

I feel no sympathy for anyone that invested in such an eyesore that obstructed a much loved feature of the hill behind if they lose everything without compensation. Hopefully it will prevent any repetition in future.
