Who?

You can't be a "Cranky old bugger" otherwise you would remember him.

Possibly you are a Cranky young bugger or a Cranky very old bugger...

I'm the same regarding that Colin. I had to Google him to discover:

Giovanni Giorgio Moroder (born 26 April 1940) is an Italian singer, songwriter, DJ and record producer. A four-time Grammy Award winner, Moroder is frequently credited with pioneering Italo disco and electronic dance music, and is dubbed the "Father of Disco".

So now we both know a little more.

In fairness, I hadn't until Daft Punk did a song about him. After that I kind of wondered how I'd never heard of him before. His contribution to electronic music is monumental. Artists like Justin Bieber, One Direction, Nicki Manaj etc wouldn't exist today without him.... oh good god, no! why! WHY! ????
