I need to renew my Minix set top android box as it only runs Kitkat 4 and cannot be upgraded apparently.

I no longer use Kodi or any free streaming sites, only 2 paid for apps; Bein Sport for EPL (bargain at 199 B per month) and TVMucho for UK tv and catchup (a tad expensive at 9.99 Euro per month).

A couple of friends run TX3 mini and are happy with it so I am looking at TX9 pro at around 2,500 Baht on Lazada. Is that a good choice or can I get better for my money ?

Any comments appreciated.

Just bought a Tanix TX3 Max,1,100 THB, from Gearbest, its working

very well,I just needed a cheap one,to watch stuff on Mobdro,

as i use Windows PC to watch streaming Tv shows,Movies,as I

find it easier to use then Kodi on Android.

It was delivered in about a week, they now have C.O.D option too,

Aliexpress are having a promotion on 11/11,so you may get it cheaper

but delivery may take longer with them.

Likewise, I just switched my Android box for an Asus Vivomini PC running Windows 10, so no issues with future upgrades. Display scaling in Win 10 means I can comfortably use my TV at 3840×2160 resolution.

Wow, that's a cheap price, 500 Baht cheaper than Lazada which is my goto place for everything.

Although it's Android 7.1 so an upgrade on my Kitkat 4, I would like to upgrade everything and as my old one is 2GB/16GB I would like at least 3GB or 4 GB if a unit is cheap enough.

I will take a look at Gearbest, thanks Worgeordie.

Seen what I want on Gearbest, Beelink GT1, 4GB, 64 GB, and only 2,493 Baht, however, will there be any customs duty to pay shipping from Gearbest to Thailand ??

I have bought several mini pc's from Aliexpress,Gearbest and Banggood,

just get them sent by China Airmail Post, and you should have no problem,

NEVER get anything sent by courier,DHL,FEDEX etc, you will pay fees.

regards worgeordie        P.S. I see they will send it Priority ,that's what they sent my TX3 by,and was delivered

by Kerry, and no charges were made, ask them not to put  TV BOX as product,as you

need license, just declare  MINI PC,
