3D PRINTING

Featured Replies

Anyone on here familiar with 3D printing?  Do you have a 3D Printer?

I have ender 3.

other than under-extrusion problems, it prints mostly fine at 0.1 mm layer height.

its fine in 0.1 mm layerheight. I can't print anything above that (0.15 or 0.2 for example). If I do, layer skipping occours. I can't say I did a perfect install as it was my first time. But nothing lose, belts are not too tight / not too loose.

But if you can print .1mm then you can print the same object it only takes longer ?

I mean if you print .2mm it would only mean a faster speed ?

0.1mm takes longer yes. another issue is moisture in Thailand and PLA doesn't like moisture.

I'm too lazy to make a dry box with teflon tube attached to it to protect filaments using silica gels from moisture.

Any idea where I can find silica gel?
