Sorry, it's on TPB.

Thank you.

I had tried that before posting, but mistakenly searched for "Holland's Hoop" and nothing came up.

TPB search engine very exacting.

Girl From Nowhere

One with a local flavour as it's a Thai series.
Was a bit apprehensive going in, but thought episode 1 was quite good.

Thirteen episodes with subs are available from TPB.

Summary: A mysterious, clever girl named Nanno transfers to different schools, exposing the lies and misdeeds of the students and faculty at every turn.

I usually don't like aussie films....bit of an oxymoron I reckon.

But this one is a real gem....of course, it's directed by Bruce Beresford.

Ladies in Black.

Great story and performances, especially Julia Ormond.

loved the attention to detail...Oz i the 60s.

How is it 'ignorant nonsense'?

It does rather seem to me that "everybody has to be represented" in so many TV shows; which in itself is fine, but not when it appears to be skewed

Yes I see... TV has previously represented reality soooo well!!! 5555555!!

I watched Dogs of Berlin and found it pretty good.

Now there's another german netflix show called Parfum.

About a young lass who is found horribly murdered with her scent glands cut out from her body.

Saw “Down a Dark Hall” at T21 last week, really started with a lot of potential but got pretty silly at the end.

Thought Uma Thurman was great as was much of the cast, but AnnaSophia Robb was weak as was the script.

I thoroughly enjoyed Simon Callow's monologue version of 'a Christmas Carol' on BBC Iplayer today. Given the date I thought it might appeal, particularly for those with older kids.

5555 its <deleted>' scripted TV since when does it represent reality?

The point is that this is just done for PC ,nothing at all to do with tv and reality , I dont know about Claudious ,but myself i have given up watching these progs that just have a mix of "different" people in them just for the sake of it , oh and by the way just to show its not about racism ,my favourite cop show is back v soon ,Luther , lets just hope they dont give him a "husband" lol.
