Oy! Cut out those anti-north racist comments.

Well isn't it pretty obvious people in London have a bit more money in the bank? Of course that's negated by the higher living costs etc

All so confusing for you isn't it @Bredbury Blue bless!

In general I think people who live in capital cities are better off financially than those who don't. Not rocket science!

Big call by Pep to bring in Sterling - out of form for weeks - instead of Fernandinho or Rodri. ????

Going for it. Big contrast to the Lyon game last year when he picked a very defensive team. Mahrez could be the key tonight.

Let's hope Pep admits he got the starting XI wrong!

Get Sterling off and go back to the usual XI and false 9.

We struggled to get players on the ball, particularly Foden who has been quiet.

We've been widen open to the counter all game without a CDM.

Been a bit of a shambles, and the goal was coming.

Chelsea just look like they're playing their normal game and looking quids in.

It's going to be very hard to turn this around - start by getting Fernandinho on for Sterling and Foden on the left.

Rant over.

Pep gave us an uphill battle and we didn't look like City until Fernandinho came on and we had some control. Last 20 minutes we had a good go but some brilliant blocks from Chelsea who rode their luck in that period. Cracking game.

We lost but I feel we've finally broke through the glass ceiling and we'll be back in Semis or Finals.

Never a big game without a Pep head scratcher. Sterling, who has been <deleted> for months, plays 75 minutes. Pep late with the subs.

Pep has to take that on the chin. He was out thought by Tuchel and slow to respond to change.

We just didn't turn up.

I think your best players were snifled by both managers set ups. It was obvious early doors you needs to change and he never.

The Sterling decision was potentially a game changer either way. Last night it failed.

Pep leaving us with another 'What if...'.

What if he'd not tinkered (think I'll play out of form Sterling wide left, move Foden where he'll be less effective, leave Rodri/Fernandinho on the bench and play top scorer Gundogan there instead and play a totally different system) and played the best team with the usual formation / tactics:

Ederson

Walker Stones Dias Zinchenko

Bernardo Rodri or Fernandinho Gundogan

Mahrez KdB Foden

Lyon Mark II.

The world class pundit that is Craig Burley ???? made a decent point. Pep is a genius manager but sometimes he's just guilty of over thinking stuff.

Still, if nothing else it’s got some of the United fans posting again........even if they never had the balls to post in their own thread  after their own dismal final.

Even got Liverpool fan posting; excusable as it has been a tough season.
