No way. You're fooling no one. If we don't win i reckon you're home.

erm yeah, I do agree, not trying to fool anyone. If you win you should go on to win the league. IF you lose or draw we will win the league.

I don't know how you can actually believe that winning the match makes this next match not a mental challenge. They got knocked out of the CL and in a horrific way, that is the mental challenge to overcome.

The point wasn't about fans, it was about the exact same scenario as a whole.

Ironically the Cardiff win has given Cardiff a free hit against us. Don't be surprised if they rest players.

You need to reread my post. I agreed with you but added if we'd lost it'd be VERY mentally challenging.

Bob you seem to spend more time on ours than yours. Trying the mind games eh.

You're like us; you think your own team can win but you have strong doubts that they can hold their nerve.

Tense stuff; thank god it'll be over soon.

Bit like the City and Spurs tie when neither team deserved to lose, neither City or Liverpool deserve to lose out

Biggest test of this campaign. I think if City do win, that's it, you're home. No else can stop you.

Can't agree with you here Bob, you only need to look at the 365

betting odds for today's match.

Man City to win 1/4

Tottenham to win 11/1

BTW I don't think today's game will decide who's home & dry.

There's still a few twists and turns in the remaining matches

from what I believe.

Agreed. Every week there are coupon busters but at the moment it seems to be waiting for the other team to blink first. Credit goes to both Liverpool and City for keeping this up.

At this point City have to be favourites just due to the Barca games Liverpool face.

That is a considerable advantage.

Huddersfield home on a Friday,

Barca away on the Wednesday,

Newcastle away on the Sunday,

Barca home on the Tuesday, and,

Wolves home on the Sunday.

Hardly a taxing run of fixtures is it. Reasonably spread out. Can rest players vs Huddersfield for sure and probably vs Newcastle.

That game away to Newcastle will be tough....especially with Barca 48 hrs later.

Would sooner have had Liverpool's recent fixtures than ours and their run-in. But it is, what it is

We'll know where the league is likely going this time next week.

Exciting innit?

For the first time in a while, after wednesday we'll be on the same amount of games.

Just hope it doesn't get as exciting as the 2012 season. Don't think my ticker could take that again

Fair enough, but I'm really coming from the CL loss angle, to pick themselves up so soon after against the team that knocked them out is a big task. I still think they will win by a goal though.

We've got 4 games left and I can't see us losing any of them, perhaps a draw with Newcastle worst case.

No second guessing Pep again.

A game as important as this and he is putting his trust in Foden. Zinchenko not really trained since his injury and he's in the startin line up. Mendy not even on the bench is interesting

Foden ahead of Silva, Fernandinho and Sane; interesting.

Just happy he hasnt started Mahrez.

Zinchenko suits us going forwards but like all our fullbacks i worry about his defending - he has been a big loss while out.

No Fernandinho! Gundogan ahead of Fernandinho!! No Fernandinho!!!

Curious, very f*cking curious!

City line-up:

Ederson, Walker, Laporte, Stones, Zinchenko, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Foden, Sterling, Aguero

Subs: Muric, Sane, D Silva, Mahrez, Otamendi, Jesus, Fernandinho

Clapping and cheering from the bench doesn't win games Bob. I know what you're saying, later in the game it's good to be able to call on them but I would sooner he start with the strongest 11
