next parking space was a disability  space /with a witch hat in front also marked for disability only

a pickup with 2 local farangs drove in /removed witch hat .and parked

both no disability /as both walked away at a good pace  to a food court

how low can some of these local farangs go

Disabled are not treated seriously in thailand. You only need to see the lack of handrails or the no down escalators to street level at bts stations BKK so the elderly and disabled are screwed

It stems from their karma belief system that if your disabled you must have been bad in your previous life.

Not just farang though is it? Just doing as the Thais do.

Very true. I see farang copying Thais on the roads every day. No helmets on motorbikes, turning left at at a red light, then turning left again, riding without proper license, etc, etc.

Interesting the way locals look at things.   Stop by Lotus Tesco on the Super across from Lanna Hosp.  In the inside parking just before the entrance, they have about 15 handicapped and mothers with baby strollers designated parking spaces.

I now know the signs in Thai and the painted designations must mean " park as many motorcycles here that you can "

their Mercs,BMW, no shame at all,Karma should

have them breaking a leg getting out of their cars.
