Getting married to Thai wife in a month: Need help to know if she is cheating. :(

Hello. I am getting married next month in Thailand to a Thai wife that I have been having a relationship for 4 years. There has been recent strange behavior from my wife. I am lost and desperate for some answers, as I do not know the Thai language. I got a chat transcript between my wife (SPP) and male friend (Zen) and I am hoping that someone here can help me.  Below is the chat transcript with emoticons and calls removed. I've also attached the chat transcript in a MS Word document. Thank you in advance in providing any clarity to the hurt and desperation that I am feeling.

I can't read that but if you're not living in Thailand, the chances are she'll be at it.  To those who say if you're having doubts don't do it, I fully understand him - you need to know but you don't want to end it if there's a chance your wrong.  I thought I could spot a player at 1000 yards but I got caught out.  There are cheats in every country but I have never known a country like it - they seem to think its OK. Buddy, either you accept it and provided she's with you it will probably stop once you're married or get her checked out. If you're not going to live in Thailand or take her to your country - forget it.  If I was in your position again (which is highly unlikely), I would spend a few thousand on a private detective and have her checked out.  I'll just sit back and wait for the flaming now ????.

 

By the way - I just translated some of that and yes, she's playing away.

Advice to OP, don't say anything to her, just find a 'paperwork' difficulty that prevents immediate marriage.

Thanks for all the replies. It's just hard to just let go without being sure as I have vested around $100K into this relationship in the last 4 years. Also, I have put down payments for the banquet hall, dress rentals, photographer, backdrop, hotel, and etc.... Yeah, I know that I'm a dumbass for not checking up on her sooner. Waste of 4 years and a broken heart and things like this make a person numb to emotions and will be hard to trust another person, at least for awhile. Need to learn that trust is earned, not given.

Trust ain't all that important IMHO, just go with the feelings of the moment and worry less about the past and the future. Don't invest so much money, Thailand is a great place for cheap relationships.

I duno. Google translation can be very deceiving. It's like getting sick then googling the answers. Most of the time google diagnosis will be cancer.

 

I have used translate on Facebook when my wife chats with her friends. You'd thing they have massive lesbian orgies. They also send heart emoticons to eachother non stop. My god, how I wish.....

Thanks for all the replies. It's just hard to just let go without being sure as I have vested around $100K into this relationship in the last 4 years. Also, I have put down payments for the banquet hall, dress rentals, photographer, backdrop, hotel, and etc.... Yeah, I know that I'm a dumbass for not checking up on her sooner. Waste of 4 years and a broken heart and things like this make a person numb to emotions and will be hard to trust another person, at least for awhile. Need to learn that trust is earned, not given.

What made you invest so much in the relationship? Buy land and house, or just normal spending in travels, fun etc? 

 

Normal spending, is money you would have used anyway, so should no time for regretting having fun.

Listen mate .. A lot of guys have been in similar position to you myself included with Thai girls and the overriding commonality with us all was we were being played in order to get one thing out of us .. Money .. You've alluded to as much yourself already with the 100k reference ( and if this is a consolation some guys have been taken for millions of baht ) .. As some other members have already said if you want to acid test her just pull the plug on the money you are feeding her and wait for her reaction .. I'll wager you'll see another side of her character by doing that ..

Thank you. Was planning to have kids ASAP. I will eject myself from this 4 year relationship. Funny how just after posting this, I just received an approval email from the National Visa Processing center after 9 month wait and this must be a sign to NOT proceed with the wedding reception. Have around 30 confirmed booking from the USA to Thailand. Guess, I will have to go to Thailand anyways and treat it like a vacation with 30 friends. However, it's going to be a nightmare to break this news to all my people and family.
