I keep getting message "import failed" on my tablet when adding ebooks.

I have two book reader apps on my tablet, I just added Alkido because I thought the Free Book Reader may not be working. I have added books before with no problems, but now I get the message "import failed" whenever I try to add ebooks in epub format. The books have been saved in my Calibre file and I have no problem opening them in my Nook reader. However, when I add them to my SD card in my tablet it shows the books as zipped, when clearly they are not. Any suggestions?

I have found a solution. Send the books direct to the tablet via Calibre, not to the SD card.
