My "theory", and it's just that, is that there will be an election, and if a certain unelected PM doesn't like the outcome, he'll use his God Like Article 44 to nullify the elections and reschedule them for "some later date."

And we may well hear the immortal line "oust me if you dare" ring out again!

And who knows the thoughts from the very top, the "oust me if you dare" challenge might just might just be accepted and would certainly meet with the approval of many.

Sad that the Thais put up with this BS from these intolerant and contemptuous generals. I really hope the locals wake up and deliver a damning verdict at the polls...although, I foresee the results being engineered to suit a certain someone's ends.

How the times change...

Yes, I think many would approve of the head boy accepting that challenge, it could be the denouement he's been looking for.

But, but, but Thaksin.

Where is the but Thaksin remark.. there was none.. your making a fool of yourself. Its so hard for you to understand that I dislike both of them. Maybe one day you will be more open minded and see them all for what they are instead of thinking that the PTP is good.

Anyway, its good to see the general shooting himself in the foot over and over again.

The assembled Press once again should have simply packed up their gear and walked out. More fool them for putting up with it.

What was so glaringly obvious was the reaction of the press. Stunned into absolute silence - they all appeared to be acting like small children caught doing or saying something that was bad - and deserved A BIG, SEVERE PUNISHMENT!

I think he's totally forgotten that HE is the public servant, whose salary is paid, partly by those people sitting in front of him - not the other way round! Gone is the pretence of 'protecting the country and the people'. All those reporters simply went back to their desks and shared what happened. This is the result.

Millions will have watched this display of dictatorial behaviour - all will be rightly horrified at what they know is likely to occur under this regime if he is 'elected'.

He is his own worst enemy!

Uncle sometimes gets cranky when he hasn’t had his meds…but people shouldn't be concerned. A handful of the little blue pills and big hug from his BFF Dolly always makes everything all warm and fuzzy and happy again.

How quickly Prayut forgot this:

The Privy Council president and Retired General Prem Tinsulanondan advised the junta chief to treat his critics and political opponents as friends – a move that he said would make his time in power smoother.

PM also stands for post mortem that might become hopefully Prayut's political career path.
