You are thinking to much, stop to think negative about your wife. Children are truly wonderful, a gift of love like no other. Go for the nanny, avoid bringing the mother in full time at all costs, make sure she agrees with this as part of planing the child. If you can afford it,  go for it 100% you will be happier for it. In fact have a few more haha. Kids are great and your lucky to have the ability to have them.

No 2 children in a family unit are the same good chance the next one would be quite and easier to manage it would be most unlikely you would have 2 the same unless some one is spoiling them rotten.

 

At least your married to your partner but your still going to now run 3rd behind the child and her parents, I think its your preconceived ideas and fears that are stalling you, you seen how good its been a second will be better, agree with your wife and at the same time get her to agree for you to get the snip after the birth off your second.
